Antibiotic Resistancy: is it the end of the modern medicine????
The discovery of penicillin created a milestone in medicinal science.antibiotics have saved millions of lives, but without the priscription and the misuse and overuse of Antibiotics is making them less effective and bacteria develop resistance and antibiotics become useless for some Threatening Bacterias . For example the improper uses of the antibiotics of tuberculosis causes MDR-TB(Multi Drug Resistancy) Or XDR-TB(Extreme Drug Resistancy) which make much difficult for cure of TB Patients and most of the cases are being mortal.
Bacterial Resistancy is being one of the biggest problem in Medicine world and Microbiologists.
Despite scientists’ warnings, antibiotic prescriptions in many countries continue to soar and antibiotic use in farming is at record levels. As a result, doctors are now seeing infections they can no longer treat. Are we facing the end of modern medicine? An antibiotic apocalypse that takes medicine back to the Dark Ages? Or will researchers outwit the incredibly clever bacteria and find novel ways to beat resistance?
