SEWA THDC Skill Development Certificate Distribution Ceremony under Skills Development Program, Uttarakhand.
IL&FS Skills Development Corporation Ltd. In the Uttarakhand state implemented employment linked skill development projects with sponsorships from various CSR sources including Titan Company Ltd., TATA UTTARAKHAND PROGRAM, SEWA – THDC, Uttarakhand Gramya Vikas Samiti, etc. Various Central and state government bodies have also contributed to the skill development programs in the state like Ministry of Rural Development, Uttarakhand Skill Development Society and Integrated Child Development Society, MSDE. IL&FS Skills Development Corporation Ltd. Operates in the Uttarakhand state with the regional office based in Dehradun. The office centrally manages various skill development and educational projects in the state and the efforts have benefited more than 14,000 youth to gain employment through various skill development programs.
A batch of 22 candidates under the sponsorship of SEWA THDC was provided the certificate of proficiency for the completion of the certificate program in food and beverage services on 6/4/2016 at the IL&FS Skills School, Chamba, Tehri Garhwal. The certificates were distributed in the presence of General Manager, social and environment SEWA – THDC Mr. H.S.Mishra, AGM, Mr. Amardeep,,Senior Manager Mr. Sunil Shah IL&FS Skills Regional Skills Head, Mr Ramesh Petwal along with other officials.DGM Shri,Misra told the audience that SEWA – THDC is active in many part of the state with these kinds of skills development actives. They give chance to youth for making their career through various skills development program sponsored by SEWA – THDC
Out of 100 candidates trained more than 75 have been employed in the companies like Sayaji Group of Hotels, Taco Bell, etc.
